And I’m here to support you on your path to licensure.
If you are looking to obtain your clinical Social Work license, I am honored to be part of your journey by providing in-person clinical supervision for ASWs in Pasadena and virtual clinical supervision for ASWs located in the State of California.
My Approach to Clinical Supervision
I offer clinical supervision for associate social workers that is designed to provide you with meaningful support for growth as a social worker - in your clinical and professional skills, knowledge, and perspectives - to achieve competence AND confidence in your social work identity and in your ability to provide quality clinical care.
Supervision protects clients, supports practitioners, and ensures that professional standards and quality services are delivered by competent social workers. (More about supervision from the NASW)
I recognize that the supervisor-supervisee relationship is a unique and special one, requiring trust, openness, respect, and care from both sides. The hours you spend in supervision as an associate social worker play a huge role in shaping your professional identity and ideas. As an LCSW, I don’t take any of this lightly and acknowledge this work and my role as a clinical supervisor as stewardship of the social work profession.
My goal as a clinical supervisor is to provide a safe place for you to be nurtured, encouraged, and supported in your growth as a social worker and clinician.
You’ll also have the opportunity to…
peek inside the world of private practice (and major bonus here if you’re interested in perinatal mental health!) and higher education
connect with other associate social workers on the same path of learning and growing through group supervision
learn and grow your clinical skills through book clubs, case studies and presentations, and ethical discussions
If this sounds like what you need, schedule a ‘get to know you’ call with me today.

Yes. If the supervisor is not employed by the supervisee’s employer or is a volunteer, a written oversight agreement that addresses the supervisor’s and employer’s responsibilities must be signed by the supervisor and the employer prior to commencement of supervision. agreement. (I take care of all of this when we begin!)

The amount of supervision you need each week depends on how much client contact you have.
Supervisees are required to obtain one unit of supervision (1 hour of individual or triadic or 2 hours of group) during any week in which experience is gained in each setting.
If the supervisee provides more than 10 hours of direct clinical counseling during a single week in a work setting, the supervisee must receive a total of two (2) units of supervision in that same week in that setting.
Supervision hours can be completed through a combination of individual and group sessions.
-
$100 per hour for both in-person and virtual supervision.
